Pretty Funny Alone
Jade Walsh

Installation & Performance
September 12 - October 2, 2013

Pretty Funny Alone is a multifaceted exhibition that explores the materiality, psychology, and metaphors of heartache and courtship. It comprises a video work that captures the artist in her studio over time; an installation that forms a ‘Mixed-media Visual Diary’ featuring photos, prints, poems, comedic stories, drawings, and fabric overlays; as well as two performances: “Actions For No Action; Free”, a roaming performance, and “Drawing Speed Dating with Jade Walsh”, a one night event.
